Duke University seeks study participants
by Staff Writer
Researchers are looking for people with diseases and people that are entirely healthy so they can compare and contrast, and look at environmental factors as well. Enrolling in the study consists of a one-time, 30-45 minute visit to one of their numerous locations around Cabarrus County and north Mecklenburg, where they will ask participants to donate three tablespoons of blood, a urine sample and some health information.
Participants are compensated for enrolling and they will receive quarterly newsletters to inform everyone of the research they’re working on. If you live in the following zip codes, you are eligible to enroll in the Murdock Study: 28025, 28026, 28027, 28036, 28071, 28075, 28078, 28082, 28082, 28083, 28097, 28107, 28124, 28138, 28213, 28215, 28262, 28269.
