CONCORD – A group of Cannon School physics students took first place in the UNC Charlotte Center for STEM Education’s Super Contest, a math, physics and chemistry event held March 5.

Team members included Rachel Fitzpatrick, of Cornelius; Erin Flynn, of Davidson; Logan Foster, of Concord; Patrick Hunter, of Harrisburg; Kendall Thomas, of Cornelius; Uday Uppal, of Huntersville; and Andrew Zelina, of Huntersville. Uday, a ninth-grader, also took third-place individual physics honors.
