The Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation Department invites seniors, age 55 and older, to register now through March 23 for the 2012 Charlotte Mecklenburg Senior Games, April 16-May 26. This is a qualifying year for the 2013 National Senior Games. For a list of events, and to register, visit www.cmseniorgames.org, or ask at any county recreation center employee. Registration costs $20 per person (with an additional $10 for bowling and $46.59 for golf). Participants must have lived in North Carolina for at least three consecutive months.
