CORNELIUS – Commissioners unanimously approved Monday, Feb. 6, plans for a $1.4 million Life Fellowship church to be built along Chartwell Center Drive.

The campus will include five buildings, two and three stories in height, with a maximum height of 36-feet that will house a worship auditorium, offices, educational facilities, life university and preschool. The project also encompasses playgrounds, park areas, greenways, future activity field, and a mall chapel, and contains interconnecting pedestrian access to a walking track and greenway.

Phase one of the project is the construction of the main building, along with 302 parking spaces, on 6.5 acres of land. Once all of the buildings are built, there will be 596 parking spaces and 17.3 acres of land developed.
