Bread of Life needs help expanding
by Staff Writer
CORNELIUS – The Bread of Life Ministry, which serves free, hot meals once a week in Smithville, is looking to expand its services to Meridian Street residents in Cornelius. The ministry, with help from the Smithville Community Coalition, is asking local churches to borrow two vans to bus Meridian Street Residents to Smithville for the weekly dinners. The ministry hopes to begin this service Feb. 16. To volunteer a church van, contact Bread of Life Ministry co-founder Kim Locklear at highpointupholstery@yahoo.com.
