Six-year-old Lilly Gann of Huntersville walked into Snip-It’s at Birkdale Village Feb. 18 and had 10 inches of her hair cut to donate to Locks of Love, a public nonprofit that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Lilly is in kindergarten at Torrence Creek Elementary.
