CORNELIUS – The town of Cornelius will hold public meetings, March 1-3, to gather input regarding the Diverging Diamond Interchange planned for Exit 28 in 2013. The diverging diamond will be the gateway into town and is intended to improve traffic flow.

While there is a preliminary design in place, commissioners and town staff want public input to ensure it’s a design everyone can work with. The open houses are on Thursday, March 1, from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 2, from 9 a.m. to noon, and Saturday, March 3, from 9 a.m. to noon with a workshop presentation from 3 to 5 p.m.

All sessions will be held at Cornelius Town Hall, 21445 Catawba Ave., in the first floor community room. For more information, contact Andrew Grant at 704-892-6031.
