HUNTERSVILLE – The LKN Kiwanis Club will host a fundraiser for the Ada Jenkins Center on March 3 at First Baptist Church, 119 N. Old Statesville Road.

Organizers will serve pancakes and sausage to guests to raise money for the agency that will go to help local families in need.

The event includes a flag-raising ceremony at 8 a.m. by the Boy Scouts, an appearance by Chubby, the Checker’s mascot, at 9:30 a.m., the singing Fireman Jim at 10 a.m., and other skits and performances by local students. The event also includes a silent auction.
