HUNTERSVILLE – Huntersville Lions Club officials are making a major break from the past, changing the location of its annual pancake meal from Huntersville Elementary School to Huntersville United Methodist Church; changing the meal from a supper to a breakfast; and changing the date to Saturday morning, March 3. The breakfast will be held from 7 a.m. to noon on March 3 at Huntersville Methodist on Stumptown Road. The club’s plan is to still provide an all-you-can-eat pancake meal with sausage, just as they have in the past, Olmstead said. Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $4 for children 6-12 years old. Children younger than 5 eat free. An added feature again this year will be a silent auction and raffle. Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance from any Lions Club member.
