Signing day in north Mecklenburg
SouthLake Christian Academy’s (from left) Taylor Jurney, Bethany Spano and coach Mark Apgar at a signing ceremony at the school on Feb. 1. Jurney, a defensive end, signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at The Citadel next season. Spano, a forward, signed to play soccer at UNC Asheville.
