Assurance United Methodist Church’s third annual Fat Tuesday Pancake Dinner is Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church, 9700 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road, Huntersville. For $8, the dinner includes pancakes, sausages, grits, coffee and juice. Children 6 and younger eat for free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the church office or at the door. Drive through and carry out services will be available. Proceeds will go to Assurance Missions and Ministries projects.
