Thousands of people attended A Huntersville Christmas on Dec. 8. The festival included activities such as carnival rides, juggler shows, a craft fair and a chance to speak with Santa. The entertainment stage by the Arts and Cultural Center included performances from the Huntersville Elementary School Chorus, Torrence Creek Show Biz Kids, Terpsicore’s Dance Center, Independence Hill Baptist Church, Blythe Elementary School Chorus, Lucky Stars Older Adult Line Dancing, Carolers of Christmas Past and Elia. Donations were accepted for three local causes including the Angels & Sparrows Soup Kitchen, toy collections from the Huntersville Police Department and the Kobe Cares Pet Food & Supply Drive.
