MOORESVILLE – The Charlotte Observer reported Oct. 4 that NASCAR driver Kyle Busch bought the record-breaking $7.5 million Denver home, citing “someone with knowledge of the transaction.”

Abigail Jennings, of Lake Norman Realty, as well as Busch attorney Cliff Homesley and spokesman Bill Janitz, declined to confirm if Busch bought the home. Jennings cited a confidentiality agreement.

County records show that Busch sold his Mooresville home at 151 Fox Hunt Drive in June for $1.1 million. He bought the home in July 2005 for $810,000. Busch was a NASCAR Sprint Cup rookie that year.

Busch’s waterfront Mooresville home consisted of at least four bedrooms, as well as a heated saltwater pool with rockslide, two waterfalls and a spa, according to a YouTube video posted prior to the sale.

The home features a billiard room, gym with soft-floor technology and covered dock with a boatlift.

Moving to Denver wouldn’t necessarily make Busch a stranger to Mooresville. Kyle Busch Motorsports houses his NASCAR Nationwide and Camping World Trucks Series teams.
