CORNELIUS – The Lake Norman office of United Family Services will hold its third annual “Cruise for Change” at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 6. The fundraiser will take place on a yacht that disembarks from Queens Landing in Mooresville.
The money raised from the event will go toward a spectrum of services to help individuals and families who have experienced trauma.
“This year’s event promises to be a fun and relaxing evening that helps us to provide critical services to people in crisis,” Region Director Kathryn Sellers said. “We invite everyone to join us for a festive evening and the opportunity to learn more about the mission of United Family Services.”
Tickets cost $60 per person and can be purchased at United Family Services’ website, www.unitedfamilyservices.org.
