Over 100 golfers participated in the seventh annual Rally for a Cure golf tournament on Sept. 22 at NorthStone Country Club in Huntersville.  The tournament helped raised over $14,000 to go towards the Susan G. Komen Foundation, a major advocate in the fight against breast cancer.



A majority of the money raised is donated to the local Komen chapter in Charlotte and a contribution also goes to National chapter. Over 100 golfers participated and enjoyed the beautiful course, a buffet dinner, silent auction, 50/50 raffle and door prizes. One of the Northstone residents young daughter even had a lemonade stand beside the course and donated her $90 of profits.
