Evans, the author of the book “Family Matters,” will speak to parents 7 p.m. Nov. 1 in Cannon School’s Taylor Hall at 5801 Poplar Tent Road, Concord. He will offer parents advice about how they can help their children develop character, good judgment and resiliency.
“‘Family Matters’ remains one of the best books on parenting that I have read,” Matt Gossage, head of school, said. “Rob will draw from this book as he speaks to us on the topic of parenting through uncertainty.”
The event marks the first presentation of the Maria DeHaas Lecture Series, made possible through the Maria DeHaas Endowment Fund. The series features talks on family oriented topics.
