DAVIDSON - Davidson College men’s soccer fans are encouraged to wear red to Tuesday’s 7 p.m. home match against nationally-ranked Wake Forest at Alumni Stadium.

It will be “North Meck Soccer Club Night,” and club members will be admitted free if they wear their red club jersey.

Davidson is 4-4-1, and hoping to rebound from a 2-0 loss to Elon last Friday.

Valeriy Sviderskiy leads the Wildcats in scoring with four goals.  Seniors Brian McGue and Andrew DiLallo have three goals and one assist apiece.

Wake Forest is 6-1-3, and ranked 16th nationally after  back-to-back 4-0 victories against Appalachian State and Virginia Tech. The Demon Deacons have only allowed six goals through the first 10 contests.

Tuesday’s meeting will be the 23rd consecutive season the teams have met.  Wake Forest holds a 25-4-1 record in the  series.
