DAVIDSON – The Metrolina Greenhouses Souper Bowl VIII, a soup taste-test between local restaurants, will take place Feb. 4, a Saturday, at the Lilly Family Gallery in the Chambers Building of Davidson College from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Davidson Housing Coalition’s HAMMERS program, an emergency home-repair program.

Tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for students and $5 for children.
