The 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. free event will feature games, food, prizes and several local leaders to commemorate the ribbon cutting.
“The senior citizen population in the Lake Norman area continues to grow,” said center director Joanne Ahern. “Now that we’ve settled into our new home, we felt it was the right time to officially announce our presence in Huntersville to the community-at-large. Our new location should prove convenient to all older adults and their family and friends in Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville and beyond.”
Café 100, Lupies and Kilwyns will provide food for the grand opening.
In conjunction with the grand opening, all classes for the weeks of Jan. 9, 16 and 23 will be free to new members.
