HUNTERSVILLE – The N.C. Department of Transportation has temporarily closed McCoy Road between Beatties Ford Road and Hambright Road in Huntersville for road work.

The work should be complete by Saturday, Jan. 28. During the closure, crews with Piedmont Natural Gas will be replacing gas valves. Motorists should take Hambright Road around the work area.
