HUNTERSVILLE – The planning board deferred voting on a proposed 66-bed hospital to be place at the corner of Verhoeff Drive and N.C. 115 to give Carolinas Medical Center more time to address neighbors concerns.

The Tuesday, Jan. 25, vote gives the hospital more time to address the buffer between the hospital and Monteith Place and other issues brought up by neighbors.

Several Monteith Place homeowners have said they fear for their safety and property values if the hospital is built.
