The Mid-Atlantic and Eastern North Carolina Chapters of the National MS Society have joined together to form the Greater Carolinas Chapter.

The new chapter serves 82 counties in North Carolina and 13,500 individuals and their families in South Carolina. With chapter offices in Charlotte and Raleigh, the National MS Society serves people living with multiple sclerosis.

The combination of the two chapters will increase programs and services to improve the quality of life of people with multiple sclerosis, and funding for research.
