HUNTERSVILLE – The North Carolina Lions Vision Van will stop in Huntersville from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Solomon House on South Main Street.
The van is equipped to perform free vision screenings for anyone over the age of 6. Anyone under age 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
The purpose of the screening is to detect, at an early stage, the need for a more complete eye exam. The screening includes visual acuity and a pressure check for glaucoma. A typical exam takes about 15 minutes.
For more information, call Lions President Jim Maxwell, 704-875-2455.
