CONCORD – Cannon School invites Charlotte-area parents of high school students to learn how they can help their children navigate the college search process.

The school will present a public panel discussion with college admissions professionals Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. in Taylor Hall on the school’s Concord campus. Barbara Polk, deputy director of undergraduate admissions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Dawn Calhoun, Associate Director of Admissions at Wake Forest University, will present an overview of admission trends, factors that make college admissions so competitive and insight on how colleges evaluate applicants.
