HUNTERSVILLE – The J.M. Alexander Middle School Community Service Committee sponsors a Red Cross Babysitter Training Class for J.M. Alexander Middle students Monday, Jan. 23, a teacher workday.

The class meets from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the school’s multipurpose room and costs $85. Parent-Teacher-Student Association scholarships that cover part of the cost also are available.

Forms also can be picked up in the main office. Students who complete the class will be awarded three hours of community service credit.
