CORNELIUS – Police arrested three people last week in connection with a Dec. 26 robbery where investigators said the trio stole guns, computers and more.
The robbery of the Washam Street home was reported early Dec. 27 when a homeowner noticed a broken window and damaged lock on the home’s door, police said.
Police arrested Cody Brice Briggs, 20, Martin Lee Lewis, 19, and Leah Amanda Rudisuhli, 19, Jan. 3 and charged them with two counts of felony second-degree burglary, felony theft of a firearm, felony conspiracy and larceny after breaking and entering, the jail log said. Briggs was also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
All three were being held at the Mecklenburg County Jail, the jail log said.
