CORNELIUS – Pre K Birthdays will host a free Martin Luther King Jr. Day event where kids will get the chance to build a replica of the Washington Monument and play with international instruments

The 9624 Bailey Road center will host a “Build and Play” from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. where children will build the Washington, D.C. obelisk in honor of where Martin Luther King Jr. began his march on Washington.

At 11 a.m. children can play with musical instruments and listen to live music.
