High blood pressure affects nearly a third of North Carolinians, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. A recent “Hypertension Hot Spots” analysis identified Charlotte as No. 23 on the list of U.S. metropolitan areas with the greatest hypertension risk factors and complications.
