DAVIDSON – Parents seeking alternatives to junk food can get healthy recipes and tips about better nutrition from an Olympic trainer Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m. at Davidson Day School, 750 Jetton St.
Matthew McAlees, a performance coach for Olympic teams and a chiropractic physician in Charlotte will talk about β€œThe Power of Nutrition: Eating Better, Performing Better,” as part of the speaker series sponsored by Davidson Day Institute for Education Excellence.
The event costs $5 for adults and $4 for Davidson Day parents. Students can attend free.
