DAVIDSON – Davidson College Presbyterian Church resumed its weekly Wednesday night fellowship supper on Sept. 7 in the Congregation House, 208 Concord Road.
To ensure the church has adequate food and child care, organizers ask those interested in attending make reservations online at www.dcpc.org (click on the Wednesday Night Life link). The meal begins at 5:45 p.m. and costs $8 for adults and youth and $4 for children through fifth grade. Children younger than three eat for free, and the maximum a family will pay is $25
Gathering Around the Word, a Bible study based on discussion with the pastors about past and future sermons, follows the meal from 6:20  to 7:20 p.m.  Other evening activities take place, and the church provides child care for infants through fifth grade.
The church will host a Red Cross blood drive Monday, Sept. 12, from 2 to 6:30 p.m. at the Congregation House. Schedule appointments by emailing kwsshoffman@aol.com. Walk-ins are welcome, and the church will provide fresh apples, cold cider and baked apple goods to donors.
