CORNELIUS–The Cornelius Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture Department will host the 11th Annual All-American Dog Show on Oct. 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bailey Road Park, 11536 Bailey Road. The show is presented by North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital and will feature contests for dogs, including “Best Puppy Dog Eyes” and “Most Unique Tail.”
Prizes will be awarded for the top three dogs in each category. The event will also have pet-related vendors and concessions by Bruster’s Ice Cream and Nathan’s Hot Dogs.
Contestants can enter at www.corneliuspr.org. Forms can also be downloaded from the website or picked up in person at the PARC office, 21445 Catawba Ave. Registration is $5, which includes entry into two contests. Fees for additional contests are $1 each. Participants can also register on site at the event for $8.
