CHARLOTTE – In order to encourage more customers to switch to paperless billing, Duke Energy has launched its “Go, Get, Give” initiative, which donates $3 per enrollee to funds that aid customers in paying their energy bills in the winter.
Customers can go to to sign up for the initiative. Those who enroll by Dec. 31 will receive three free music downloads.
“Our Paperless Billing program gives customers the convenience of online billing and payment that’s simple and safe to use,” said Jim Rainear, vice president of revenue services for Duke Energy.
“Last year, our customer-supported heating assistance programs contributed more than $3.2 million to agencies across the five states we serve to help families cover their heating costs,” he said.
