DAVIDSON – New Gladstein Fellow, Rabbi Adam Baldachin, will lead Beth Shalom of Lake Norman’s Shabbaton services this month, beginning Friday, Sept. 2., at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 301 Caldwell lane.

The Friday night service begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by a catered dinner. The meal costs $12 for members, $15 for non-members and $5 for children 6 to 12 years old. Children younger than 6 eat free. Make your reservation online at www.bslkn.org.

Beth Shalom holds a variety of youth-oriented programs on Shabbat mornings, including Tot Shabbat for babies to pre-kindergarten from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and Junior Torah Club for students in first through sixth grades. The students are encouraged to join the service in the sanctuary near its conclusion for final prayers.
