HUNTERSVILLE – The Women Wisdom And Wit group will meet Sept. 8 at 9:30 a.m. at Knit One, Stitch Too in the Northcross Shopping Center, at N.C. 73 and Statesville Road.

Betsy Weber, owner of the shop for more than 10 years, will talk to the group about embellishing clothing. If women need babysitting, KidTime is just around the corner from the shop.

The women’s group also will hold a retreat Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Statesville. The outing costs $20, which includes use of a retreat house, meditation and lunch.
