CORNELIUS – The Cornelius Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture Department will host the 11th annual All American Dog Show on Oct. 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Bailey Road Park, 11536 Bailey Road.

The event, sponsored by North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital, will feature fun pet contests, including Best Puppy Dog Eyes and Most Unique Tail. Prizes will be awarded to the top three dogs in each category, and every dog gets a participation ribbon. The event also will have pet-related vendors and concessions by Bruster’s Ice Cream and Nathan’s Hot Dogs.
