CHARLOTTE – Friday, The U.S. National Whitewater Center’s River Jam continues Friday, Aug. 5, at 7 p.m. with an outdoor concert by singer Sidnye Lathan.

River Jam is the free concert series offered by the Mountain Island-area whitewater center. During the concert, buy craft beers and food. Organizers ask visitors to come by early to take in a run or bike ride through the miles of trails around the park or paddle on the Catawba River before the show.
