HUNTERSVILLE – Earth Fare, an Asheville-based natural-foods grocery chain, opened its new store at 10421 Borne St., off Gilead Road, on Wednesday, Aug. 3.
Every Thursday, beginning Aug. 4, the store will hold Family Dinner Night from 4 to 8 p.m., when up to six children can eat free with the purchase of one $5 adult meal. Each child can select from hot and cold entrees, fresh sides, snacks and a drink.
Founded in Asheville 35 years ago, Earth Fare describes itself as “the second largest, natural-foods retailer in the country.” The Huntersville store will offer “fresh local and organic fruits and vegetables, full-service antibiotic- and hormone-free meat, poultry and seafood departments, a cheese department, an on-site bakery and body and supplement departments,” according to a news release.
