DAVIDSON – Davidson College recently hired Scott A. Nolan as general manager of WDAV-89.9-Classical Public Radio.

Nolan steps into his new job Aug. 29, coming from the Columbia Museum of Art in Columbia, S.C., where he is director of development. He worked six years in development at WUSF Public Broadcasting, a public TV-radio station at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Nolan becomes the station’s fifth general manager in its 32-year history.

Nolan earned a BA in business management and history with honors from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla., and a master’s degree in history from American University in Washington, D.C. Nolan and his wife, Amy, have two young children.
