The Community Blood Center of the Carolinas has scheduled the following blood drives in the Lake Norman area this month:
• Saturday, Aug. 6: Grand Theatre AmStar, 206 Norman Station Blvd., Mooresville, 2 to 6 p.m.
• Aug. 13: Regal Theaters Birkdale 16, 16950 Birkdale Commons Pkwy., Huntersville, 2 to 6 p.m. Donors get a free movie ticket.
• Aug. 15: Katie Fabian student drive, Lake Norman Charter High School, 12701 S. Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Aug. 21: Greater Vision United Methodist Church, 11901 Eastfield Road, Huntersville, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Aug. 21: Ashley Harmon student drive, Christ Community Church, 16301 N. Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, 1:30 to 6 p.m.
• Aug. 23: Lowe’s YMCA, 170 Joe Knox Ave., Mooresville, 3:30 to 7 p.m.
• Aug. 26: Regal Theaters Birkdale 16, Huntersville, 3 to 7 p.m. Donors get free movie ticket.
