CORNELIUS – Hough High School will kick off a second season of Husky football by collecting school supplies for children at a battered women’s shelter in Charlotte.
At the Husky’s Hope Scrimmage on Saturday evening, Aug. 13, the school will provide bins for people to donate supplies, including pencils, paper and book bags.
Gates open at 5 p.m. for the free scrimmage, and the game starts at 6. Concessions and Husky spirit gear will be available for purchase. The junior varsity and varsity cheerleaders, marching band, other sports teams and student organizations also will attend to celebrate another season of Hough High football.
