Two local men were arrested this week after police intercepted a package of 10 pounds of marijuana shipped from California to a home in Huntersville through a national parcel company.
Trevor Lynn Lysne, 40, of 17126-C Formby Road in Huntersville, and Jerome David Frey, 27, of 279 Wiggins Road in Mooresville, were arrested after police intercepted the package, police said.
Huntersville police were tipped off by a state agency about the package.
Lysne was charged with trafficking marijuana, possession with intent to sell marijuana and maintaining a dwelling to distribute marijuana, police said. He was released from the Mecklenburg County jail on a $30,000 bond, the jail log said.
Frey was charged with trafficking marijuana and possession with intent to sell marijuana, police said. He was released from the Mecklenburg County jail after posting a $25,000 bond, the jail log said.
