MOORESVILLE  – The House of David will host a Gospel Explosion, featuring six groups from as far away as Wilmington, Del., July 17 at 3 p.m. at Agape Recreation Center, 781 Agape Drive.

Performing groups include The Beatty Spirituals and Gethsemane Gospel Singer, both of Davidson; Voices of Morning Star, of Charlotte; The Heavenly VoiceS, of Kannapolis; The Mighty Pilgrimaires, of Salisbury; and J.D. Caldwell & the Gospel Ambassadors, of Delaware.

Tickets cost $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Children 6 to 12 years old pay half price.
