Town observes attorney’s 35 years of service

The resolution praised Kline for his work with numerous boards and for dealing with changes in the town and the world with “tact, egalitarianism, good listening skills, attention to detail and unassailable integrity.”
Born in Akron, Ohio, Kline holds an undergraduate degree from Ohio State University and graduated from the University of Akron School of Law. He started his private practice in 1972, representing real estate developers and lenders in retail, office, multi-family and single-family residential developments.
He has worked for Bank of America, CVS, Eckerd and Lowe’s and began working as Davidson’s attorney in 1976. He and his wife, Jayne, live in Cornelius with Lucca, their 13-month-old Lagotta Romagnolo.
