DAVIDSON – Kathleen Rose, president and CEO of Rose & Associates Southeast, has been awarded the Counselor of Real Estate credential by The Counselors of Real Estate, an international group of real estate practitioners who provide expert advisory services to clients on complex real property and land-related matters.

Rose received the certification at the organization’s midyear meeting in San Diego, Calif.

Rose specializes in real estate market analysis, economic development, due diligence and asset strategies for public and private sector clients throughout the Southeast. She has been active in Davidson projects, including South Main Square in downtown Davidson and, with the Town of Davidson,  the Project for Innovation, Energy & Sustainability (PiES), the state’s first green-business incubator.

Of more than 150,000 practitioners in commercial real estate, fewer than 1,100 have been awarded the Counselors of Real Estate credential.
