DAVIDSON – Know Your Farms, a Davidson-based family business, will host its third annual Charlotte Area Farm Tour, featuring 30 local farms, on Sept. 17 and 18.

Tickets cost $25 per vehicle or cycle group in advance or $30 on the tour day. The self-guided tour lasts from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. each day and different farms, featuring fruit and vegetable growers, livestock producers, North Carolina’s first certified organic dairy and even an ostrich farm are scheduled each day. Many farms offer fun activities such as hayrides, petting zoos and cooking demonstrations.
