HUNTERSVILLE – On July 13, the hottest day of the summer at that time,  Huntersville-based Midas Spring Water provided cold, bottled water free to construction crews adding lanes on Sam Furr Road/N.C. 73.

Based at 9861 Beatties Ford Road, Midas gets its water from a Huntersville spring. Midas is Mecklenburg County’s oldest manufacturer and one of the oldest bottled-water companies in the country.
