DAVIDSON – The ministers of Davidson College Presbyterian Church and Davidson Presbyterian Church will swap pulpits Sunday, July 17, with the Rev. Darrell Van Pelt preaching at Davidson College Presbyterian and the Rev. Lib McGregor Simmons preaching at Davidson Presbyterian.

Davidson College Presbyterian, 100 N. Main St., holds its worship service at 11 a.m., and Davidson Presbyterian, 116 Depot St., holds worship services at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Davidson College Presbyterian’s discussion group on science and faith continues to meet on the second Sunday night of the month at 7 p.m. in the church parlor. The group is currently studying John Haught’s book “Science & Religion: From Conflict to Conversation.”

The church invites the community to join a two-week series on heaven July 24 and 31 at 9:45 a.m. in room 201. The group will use “Heaven” by Lisa Miller and “The Difference Heaven Makes” by Christopher Morse as resources. Find more information at the church’s website, www.dcpc.org.
