DAVIDSON – ComputerTree of Davidson, a full-service Apple computer store, opened recently inside the Wooden Stone Gallery at 445 S. Main St.

The computer store will hold a grand-opening celebration Saturday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., featuring apple-themed games and refreshments and product demonstrations and giveways. During the next four weeks, ComputerTree of Davidson also will sell raffle tickets for an iPad 2, with all proceeds going to the Ada Jenkins Center in Davidson. Tickets cost $5, and an Ada Jenkins Center volunteer will draw the winner Aug. 13.

Wooden Stone owner Drew Crawford formed ComputerTree of Davidson, which is an Apple-authorized service and retailer for computers, accessories and classes. Service Manager Matt Long and technician Leisl Trester are Apple-certified in Macintosh and all Apple products.
