CORNELIUS – Grace Covenant Church and Our Towns Habitat for Humanity have joined forces for a week of service and improvements to homes in the Smithville community.

Led by the staff of Our Towns Habitat for Humanity, teams of Grace Covenant volunteers expect to complete several home-repair projects from Tuesday to Saturday, July 5 through 9. The volunteer teams will build a driveway, dig culverts, create walkways, replace guttering and downspouts, install basketball goals, repair decks, build a water ridge and new shed, landscape and paint.

On July 9, the last day of the Servolution week, church volunteers will hold a festival with live music, free food, kids’ activities and various displays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Smithville Community Center, 19412 S. Hill St.
