The Storm took the 2011 baseball championship in the Stewards of the Game faith-based league this year. The Christian sports organization has offered league play in baseball and basketball in the Lake Norman area for more than a decade. The league works to grow strong athletes while teaching life lessons through sports. Many of the players on SouthLake Christian Academy’s 2011 state championship baseball team played in Stewards of the Game leagues.
